Mirror Gauge

Acrylic mirror glass come primarily in two thickness's / gauges, 3mm and 6mm. Whilst both give a beautiful optical reflection it is often deemed necessary to use the thicker glass when the mirror becomes over a certain size, we recommend, should your size go over 0.8 m in any dimension then the thicker 6mm acrylic would be advisable.

Special Note:
If perfect optical quality is required, use real glass, as acylic glass does give some distortion in larger sizes.

How A Two Way Mirror Works
On the Bright Side
Light bounces around the light room, much of the light reflects off the mirror to the viewer. Very liitle sneaks in from the other side because the room is dim: result most of the light from the mirrors comes from within the bright room, so that's what you see.
